🎙️ On Air Workshop

This year we had to change the dates of the On-Air Workshop because of the lockdown. Last week we hosted 18, Year 13 students from all around New Zealand and took them on a 4-day broadcasting journey.

Below are Lizzie, Mack, Molly and Brie, who volunteered to be interviewed by Ara Comms and grab their 5 minutes of fame. Here they are exploring one of our radio studios.

Check out the article on the Ara Facebook page.

🎓 Meet Our Graduates

Media at the moment is a changing and evolving beast so we are looking to our graduates who are working successfully in non-traditional roles to offer some perspective and insight to our students.

Two NZBS graduates who we have featured so far are Erica Wood who came to us from Nelson College for Girls, via university, now working for Fonterra, and Bree Loverich, Manager at Screen CanterburyNZ. Bree promotes the region and assists mainly international film producers who need help with locations and expertise.

Check out our Facebook page to see Erica’s interview and Bree’s interview with our Head of School Tony Simons.
