Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu Scholarship
Adorn the bird with feathers so it can fly

If we give the bird what it needs then it will thrive

This whakataukī speaks to the notion and the purpose of our Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu scholarship. We will provide opportunity for young Māori talent to build their ngā kete mātuaranga (baskets of knowledge), in a safe, protected and nurturing environment, then they will be equipped and empowered to fulfil their purpose, and ultimately thrive and prosper as an individual and future leader of their whānau, hapū, iwi and wider community.

Two Scholarships will be offered to young Māori talent, these are new scholarships and were created in partnership with our Manukura Maori Business Team.
